How to find your saved YouTube Shorts
The short answer: Shorts you save sit in a playlist — usually your Saved playlist or Watch Later. Open the You tab, tap View all under your playlists, and it's in there. The catch: YouTube lets you store Shorts but not search them by what was actually said — so once the list grows, you're back to scrolling. To find a saved Short by what it was about, you need something that reads the video.
Where saved Shorts actually live
- Saved / Watch Later playlist — tapping Save on a Short adds it to a playlist under the You tab. That's the whole system.
- No content search — you can't ask YouTube "the Short about the oil valve" or "the one with the 20-minute dumbbell workout." You skim titles and thumbnails.
- It grows forever — the more you save, the harder any one is to find again.
Make your saved Shorts findable
MemRa reads each Short you save — it uses the video's own captions and transcript — so you can find any one by asking in plain language:
- "the Short about fixing a dripping tap"
- "the budgeting tip with the 50/30/20 rule"
- "that dumbbell back workout"
To save a Short, tap Share → MemRa on the video, or forward its link to MemRa on WhatsApp. It keeps a searchable record even if the Short is later taken down, and it puts your TikTok, Instagram and YouTube saves in one place — so you search everything at once, not app by app.

FAQ
Where do my saved YouTube Shorts go?
Into a playlist — usually your Saved playlist or Watch Later — reachable from the You tab, then "View all" under your playlists. They're stored, but there's no search by what was said, so a growing list means scrolling.
How do I find a specific YouTube Short I saved?
In YouTube you scroll your Saved playlist and recognise it by thumbnail or title. To find one by what it was about, save your Shorts to MemRa — it reads each Short's captions and transcript so you can type a phrase you remember and jump straight to it.
Can I search inside my saved YouTube Shorts?
Not in YouTube itself. Share a Short's link to MemRa and it reads the video's own captions and transcript, so your saved Shorts become searchable by what was said, not just the title.
