Where do my saved Instagram Reels go?
The short answer: open your Instagram Profile, tap the menu (the three lines, top-right), then tap Saved. Your saved Reels are there — under All posts, or inside any Collection you filed them in. It's private to you. The catch: even once you've found the Saved area, Instagram gives you almost no way to search inside it. Here's what you can do, and the fix.
Finding your saved Reels (step by step)
- Open Instagram and go to your Profile (bottom-right).
- Tap the menu — the three lines (☰) at the top-right.
- Tap Saved.
- Open All posts to see everything, or a Collection if you sorted your Reels into one.
Why you still can't find the one you want
Instagram does have a search box in Saved — but it only looks at the caption the creator typed. If the thing you remember was spoken or shown in the Reel — an ingredient, a place name, a step — the caption search won't surface it. And like every native saved list:
- No content search — you can't ask for "the Reel about the 5-minute ab routine" unless those exact words were in the caption.
- Saves vanish — if the creator deletes the Reel or goes private, it disappears from your Saved too.
- It's one app — the same idea you also saved on TikTok lives in a separate place entirely.
The fix: make your Reels searchable by what was said
